A good story about how the GOP won the health care battle by being complete assholes. As it turns out Obama's real mistake was wanting to do things. Let's hope he doesn't repeat it.
After the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck the troubled island nation of Haiti last week, the world pulled together to lend a hand, and try their best to help manage what quickly became an horrific humanitarian crisis. With death tolls as high as 200,000 by some estimates, the scope of the disaster has yet to be fully understood. The devastation is so profound as to be impossible to overstate, and equally as impossible to ignore. Unless, of course, you are a member of the right wing media. How they respond to this crisis? Would they be able to rise above the petty partisan squabbling that has come to define discourse in America? What do you think. We'll get into it, and try not to vomit too much in the process.

We are back from our little break, and so we look into what happened while we were gone: Health Care Reform got a little closer to reality, there was a near miss on the terror front, and the GOP is tearing itself apart. How did the right handle the Underpants Bomber? What the hell is wrong with Rudy Guilani? And what of Michael Steele? Why has he become the latest pivot point in the GOP war on itself? WHEN DID HE WRITE HIS PATRONIZING BOOK ABOUT HOW TO BE A GOOD REPUBLICAN? We get into the nitty gritty on this stuff, and try to make it somewhat clear, or as clear as these things ever get. Or at least we will fill an hour trying.
Enjoy. And if you want to comment on the show, call:
